Epithalon (commonly also called Epitalon or Epithalone) is a synthetic tetrapeptide originally developed from research into age-related biology and the pineal gland peptide extract epithalamin. It consists of four amino acids — alanine (Ala), glutamic acid (Glu), aspartic acid (Asp), and glycine (Gly) — often written in sequence as Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly (AEDG).
